Java Software Developer
The role will involve developing enterprise web applications taking advantage of open source Java technologies. As well as developing new products, the successful candidate will also create new and exciting features for our core products in the telecommunication and online payment sectors. You’ll be involved in all stages of the development process, from analysis and design to implementation and testing. Working in an agile environment, the successful candidate requires the ability to both work in a team and individually.
The successful candidate will have a solid experience in:
- J2EE
- JSF, IceFaces would be an advantage
- Wicket
- SpringFramework or other IoC containers
- Hibernate or other ORM
- SQL Database technologies, PostgreSQL would be an advantage
- Tomcat and/or JBoss application servers
- Unit, Integration and Functional acceptance testing.
- Web 2.0 technologies, AJAX
- Linux experience would be an advantage
An understanding of of the following would be an advantage:
- Web Services: SOAP and Rest
- IT networking
- GWT
- Seam

Customer Support Analyst
We are seeking to recruit a Customer Support Analyst to work within our customer services division.
The customer services division provides telecommunications customers with advanced billing and reporting services, utilising technology to maximise the level of production automation.
The role will focus on setting up and supporting telecommunications billing and reporting services in line with a customer’s specific requirements. Essential experience/skills include:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be familiar with SQL Server 2000/PostgreSQL.
- Customer support and analysis or Telecommunications experience would be desirable but is not essential.
The responsibilities will include specifying and implementing billing and reporting services attending to customer-raised queries, investigating and solving complex problems, enhancing existing functionality and generally ensuring an efficient managed service.

Placement Student
We are able to offer work placement opportunities to students looking for a year of work experience prior to completing their degree course. You will be required to undertake challenging and varied assignments, primarily related to our telecommunications billing applications.
Work will be of an analysis, programming, testing/technical nature within a results orientated environment with a strong customer focus.
Skills and Experience required:
- Programming skills in a PC environment.
- Knowledge of structured techniques / methodologies, which will be applied in developing low maintenance applications.
- Ability to work under own initiative and in a team environment. Mature, enthusiastic and flexible approach.
Specific Technical Skills Desired:
- Database design and use (SQL Server, Access, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Web based development (Java, ASP, PHP, HTML)
- Desktop development (Visual, Java)
