The much-awaited annual Summer Event hosted by Lifecycle Software took place in July at the company's headquarters in Newbury, United Kingdom.

This year marked the 28th anniversary of the software company, which has been a leading force in telecom innovation, particularly in the fields of BSS and real-time charging.

A balmy summer day welcomed employees from all over the United Kingdom, France, Portugal and Spain. The day started with an engaging All Hands Session presided by Kelvin Chaffer, the CEO. During this session, he highlighted the key achievements of the year and presented the "Values of Lifecycle Awards," a quarterly initiative recognizing employees who exemplify the company's core values. This quarter, Sam Cole, Senior Designer, was honoured for outstanding innovation, and Ian Cadge, Solution Designer, received the award in the Data category.

Following the All Hands Session, the attendees split into smaller groups to participate in workshop sessions. Conducted by Steve Ireson, Silvia Pessoa, Ross Devereux, Gael Martin, Liz Parry, and Jeff Power, these interactive workshops proved to be highly insightful and valuable.

During the break for lunch, everyone had the chance to catch up with colleagues and speculate about the planned team-building activities for the afternoon. The anticipation paid off as the team-building exercise turned out to be fantastic. Employees were divided into teams and sent on a treasure hunt throughout the city. Each team was equipped with a tablet containing a map, and they had to visit various marked locations to complete challenges. The challenges ranged from solving math problems to reenacting iconic paintings, creating choreographies, impersonating animals, and even recreating scenes from Titanic. The locals had a blast observing the teams engaged in seemingly absurd activities. In the end, the team called "Sixth Sense" scored the most points and earned the title of winners.

The day concluded with a delightful dinner party held at a Lebanese restaurant. The camaraderie and laughter flowed as freely as the delicious cuisine, making for a perfect ending to an unforgettable event.

Overall, the Summer Event was a resounding success, fostering teamwork, recognizing employee excellence, and providing a memorable and enjoyable experience for all who attended.
