When Plusnet acquired MVNO Life Mobile in 2016, they knew if they wanted to be successful within the telecom market they would need to partner with suppliers who could facilitate their innovations in a timely manner to capitalise on changes in the market. They also needed to work with partners who could scale their solutions to support the growth ambitions of Plusnet. Following Lifecycle's success of working to create LIFE mobile, a brand new MVNO, a partnership with Plusnet proved to be invaluable. 

The challenges

With a proven track record in delivering secure, scalable provisioning, billing, CRM, customer care and reporting solutions, Plusnet chose to partner with Lifecycle to host, support and onward customise the software solution for the Plusnet Mobile proposition.
Prior to launch, all aspects of the LIFE Mobile solution had to be re-branded with the Plusnet brand.
In addition new functionality to deliver on the brand ethos of providing a high value customer experience had to be rolled out.
The target launch date for the new Plusnet Mobile service was pre-Christmas 2016 and all the required changes had to be achieved in just a few months.

Lifecycle's systems provided a robust, scalable and innovative back office MVNO solution with supported Plusnet Mobiles' initial and ongoing success. By deploying automation and innovative feature like "bill cap" Plusnet have been able to minimise operational costs whilst still meeting regulatory guidelines and keep its brand image of being competitively priced, forward-thinking and providing great customer experiences.
