Lifecycle Software has developed this Privacy Notice to explain how we may collect, retain, and process the personal data of visitors to our website. When somebody visits our website we use a third party analytics tool, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.
What do we collect?
Lifecycle-Software.com may collect data about the behaviour of visitors on its website. For instance, data may reveal how much viewing time particular pages have received, or user journeys within the site, in order to measure the performance of the website. Analytics also reveal regional location to help us identify any trends and improve our communication methods. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
If you use the contact form, we’ll keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us. After it ends we’ll keep it where we may need it for our legitimate purposes e.g. to help us respond to queries or complaints.
Why do we collect this information?
Keeping a record of our users’ interactions on our site allows us to identify the performance of our website over time, such as the efficiency of our content and potential weaknesses in communication. From this we can review general trends to improve the experience of the site. Data is only retained for 14 months unless otherwise justified.
Do we share personal data?
Data collected by Lifecycle’s website is not used by our third party analytics software Google Analytics. We do not share the data we collect and is only used internally for the purpose of improving our communications strategy.
Upon entering the site, Wix and Google Analytics store cookies in the browser of your computer. This anonymously differentiates users from each other, recognises returning visitors, makes a record of site interactions, and performs analytics.
We use the following types of cookie:
_ga – used to distinguish returning visitors from new ones (expires after 2 years)
_gid – used to distinguish visitor sessions (expires after 24 hours)
_gat – used to limit the number of requests to prevent Denial of Service attack
