Newbury, UK– 5 November 2026: Lifecycle Software, a leading provider of carrier-grade BSS and MVNE solutions that support the entire customer journey end-to-end, has appointed Ross Devereux as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. He succeeds Liz Parry, who has been promoted to a new strategic leadership role.
Ross takes the CEO role after 20 years at Lifecycle Software, having started as a placement student before progressing through software engineering, R&D and professional services leadership. Most recently Professional Services Director, he has led two separate business functions and gained a well-rounded view of the company's operations, products and customers alongside his deep technical knowledge.
His appointment marks the next stage in Lifecycle Software’s evolution towards a more product-led business, with a focus on giving customers greater control over how they configure and use its platform, while reducing the need for heavily customised deployments. This will see greater investment in APIs, self-service capabilities and an AI agentic layer that enables users to interact with and adapt the platform using natural language. The strategy is designed to help customers bring new propositions to market faster and adapt their services without relying on lengthy discovery, development and configuration projects.
“I joined Lifecycle straight out of university, writing code and learning how the products worked from the inside out. Twenty years on, I’m now responsible for the business as a whole, making sure we’re building the right things for our customers,” commented new CEO Ross Devereux. “Moving from R&D into professional services was a big change, but it has given me a much broader understanding of what customers need and how our technology translates into business outcomes. That experience is shaping the direction in which I now want to take the company.”
Ross also brings direct experience of delivering and operating the technology behind Coop Mobile in the Channel Islands, which has captured 67% of the region’s annual mobile switchers since launch, giving him a practical understanding of how technology can help brands bring new propositions to market and grow customer relationships.
“Customers increasingly need to be able to adapt their propositions themselves rather than wait for a technology provider to build every change for them,” continued Devereux. “Our focus is therefore on making the platform easier to configure, giving customers more self-service capability and applying AI where it can remove complexity and genuinely improve the way they work. That is a more scalable model for our customers and for us. I look forward to building on our strong customer relationships and helping them innovate faster while delivering real value.”
