HO HO HO!!
A day of joy, a tale of togetherness - our annual 2023 Christmas gathering was magical and we have the photos to prove it! Whether in our headquarters in the United Kingdom, in our office in France, in Portugal or even tuning in remotely, the festive energy was everywhere.
We started the day with a warm and delicious coffee break followed by our company 23 recap highlighted business growth and we have celebrated achievements.
Huge congratulations to Jodie and Gavin for bagging the Values Award for Friend and Friendship, both with tons of heart-touching nominations from colleagues! Also, a special shout-out to Ian Isaac, our compliance manager, who celebrated both his anniversary and retirement on this very day. Thank you for all you've done, Ian.As you know we love a good competition so this year we have decided to host the Best Christmas Jumper Award, Hidden Puddings Challenge, and the Sales and Marketing Kahoot Quiz. Well done to Xavier Lopez and Christophe Manson for being the winners of our challenging games.
The highlight of the afternoon was the Hamper for Charity Challenge. Each team, armed with £60 and a shopping list, competed to create the best hamper. Every team went above and beyond to assemble a delightful assortment, but Team 5 was truly exceptional and emerged victorious! All the hampers were delivered to local charities—Newbury Soup Kitchen in the UK and a local French charity in the north of France—to support the homeless and those in need during this festive season. Special thanks to Meryl for judging the hampers, and congratulations to the winning team!After a long day of work, we went out for some well-deserved drinks, followed by a great meal at La' De Kitchen.
