Microsoft Cloud Partner Interview

The ISV Spotlight brings to light some the most innovative businesses in the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program. This session focuses on Lifecycle Software, an award-winning BSS and Online Charging provider that shapes how some of the most successful telecom players in the UK provide their services.
According to Kelvin Chaffer, CEO of Lifecycle Software, the collaboration with Microsoft is key to improving reliability, flexibility and security across systems. Gael Martin, IT Director, adds that the support and excellence from Microsoft's team and the Certification Programme have paved the way for smooth cloud migration processes. Furthermore, the cloud computing and AI capabilities supported by Microsoft are impacting their ambitious roadmap.

A powerful case in point is the NEXUS MVNE, a cloud-based, multi-tenanted solution. This innovation allows telecom operators to significantly reduce the cost and complexity of onboarding new MVNOs and partners, empowering them to expand their businesses rapidly and adapt to changing market dynamics with ease.
Kelvin Chaffer leaves us with two key recommendations for businesses looking to harness the potential of the cloud. One is to prioritise the initial design and the planning phases because this is key to ensure a smooth migration. The second is to make the best of Microsoft MarketPlace for extended reach.
Lifecycle utilises Azure to support their most important applications, including BSS, CCS, and Nexus. Success factors include the cloud-native tech stack with Open APIs and a high level of automation. In fact, over 99.95% of the transactions in Lifecycle’s solutions are automated.
